Condolence: As a granddaughter of Joseph and Bertha Herzinger who lives in Los Angeles, I've always been (physically) far from the wonderful Herzinger family, but have kept a big, soft, warm spot in my heart for all, including Ruth Konopik. To her family, I send my condolences, for no matter how long a loved one lives, they always leave us too soon! I am sorry that I never had the pleasure of sharing a cup of tea, or glass of wine with her, and hearing her stories. I hope to revisit this site often to read the stories others share of Ruth and her life.
