Condolences

Condolence From: William Oleary
Condolence: Mr. Nicholson was my 6th grade teacher in the 70's. I will all ways remember the extra's he did like bringing in baby chicks in an incubator and staying after school and showing us how to build model rockets and launching them with us. When we would pick strawberries as a summer job he was the bus driver that would take us to the fields.

Condolence: I have fond memories of Mr. Nicholson, my sixth grade teacher in 1971-72. My best memory was when he took our whole class to Canada. It was a special trip, and I still remember the ferry ride and the wax museum and staying in the hotel. He was a special person. Rest in peace and my condolences to the family.

Condolence: I remember Mr. Nicholson in the strawberry fields during the summer months in his overalls, big straw hat and the walking stick to pull back the strawberry bushes! I never had him in school, but knew of him as a teacher in the middle school, I think, just after the transition to a middle school. He was just one cool dude in the 80's!

Condolence: My sincere thoughts and prayers are with Sharon and her family. I will always remember Bruce's sense of humor and his take on any situation. I will never forget the smiles on the kids' faces when "Santa" passed out the Christmas oranges in my classroom.

Condolence: Our sincere condolences to Sharon and family. I taught a number of years with Bruce and had such an enjoyable time with him. I will always remember the good times with Fort Success and at Camp Moran. We had adjoining rooms at N. Whidbey and shared many stories and planning together, sometimes sharing classes. We will always remember him fondly.

Bruce was my favorite uncle ever ! Bruce and Mom were so funny together and they were so close and loved each other so much - now they are all together as a family again. Bruce was a great uncle especially the summer Mike and I spent with Grandma. I just wish they were still here with us! You know my deepest heartfelt sadness and sympathy is with each of you during this time and know it is now just us cousins and Aunt Sharon left of the family! Love always Cindy, Sarah, Jonathan, Isabelle, Lorilei, Mike, Russ/Sandy, Courtney, and Megan

Condolence: Please accept our condolences. I enjoyed teaching in same building in Oak Harbor with Bruce for several years. I admired his unique style of teaching and dedication to his students, colleagues and family. He positively touched the lives of many big and small. I smile as I recall his Santa visits to the classrooms...pillow case loaded with oranges to gift the little ones...and the joy on the faces of those who received his offering. Rest in peace Bruce...you did good!
Sharon, the obituary is very nice...thanks for sharing. Bless you and yours!
