Ozes Hobson Jr.
Ozes “O” Hobson Jr., 43, passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at his residence. He was the husband of Jaime Jennine Hobson. They shared 5 years of marriage together.
Born in Monroe, Louisiana, he was the son of Ozes Hobson Sr. and Carolyn Ann Young. A former USN service member, he also studied Environmental Science at the University of Washington.
He was a member of the Christian Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. His favorite scripture is found at Proverbs 10:22, “It is the blessing of Jehovah that makes rich, And He adds no pain with it.” (NWT).

Ozes Jr. enjoyed barbecue, music, football, and camping. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and equally infectious laughter, his southern hospitality, teaching his daughter, Jennah, his secret recipes, and he always had a piece of chocolate to give his baby girl, Anabelle.

He is survived by his wife and sunshine, Jaime; his children Justin, Jennah, Katrina, and Anabelle; and Sparky II, the pet fish; his siblings and their spouses, Joshua Kenneth Hobson of St. Gabriel, LA, Summer Michelle Hobson Wise and Daniel Wise of Anacortes, WA, and Breezy LaShae Hobson Thibodeaux and Rodney Thibodeaux of Baton Rouge, LA; as well as multitudes of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He was predeceased by Johnnie and Louise Young, maternal grandparents, and Anabelle Hobson Martin and Joseph Martin, paternal grandparents.

The memorial service will be held on Saturday May 14, 2016 at 1 o’clock in the afternoon at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 2511 29th St., Anacortes, Washington, 98221. Repast to follow for close friends and family at another location.
