Obituary for Sharon Theresa Tobin

Sharon Theresa Tobin (née Beauchemin) was prematurely and tragically taken from her family and friends on Monday, December 18, 2017 in a horrific automobile accident near Coupeville WA.

Raised in North Smithfield, RI, Sharon resided the last 24 years as a resident of the Pacific Northwest. Educated in Boston, then Rome and after her marriage Australia, Sharon was a world traveler living and visiting 47 countries in her shortened 59-year life. She was an award-winning gourmet cook and an incredible hostess as well as a compassionate loving woman. She lived her life to the fullest and pursued her interests with passion and style that few of the rest of us could follow.

Sharon is survived by her husband of 32 years Peter Tobin, her sister Donna Beauchemin Slavin, brothers George A. Beauchemin, Robert A. Beauchemin, Richard A. Beauchemin, Shawn P. Beauchemin and Thomas A. Beauchemin, plus nephews and nieces to include Blair Beauchemin, Jessica Swanson, Joshua Manion, Crystal Manion, Kelly Beauchemin, Auburn Beauchemin, William Beauchemin, Taylor Beauchemin, Brayden Beauchemin, Destiny Beauchemin, Desiree Beauchemin, Tracey Beauchemin, Jason Beauchemin, Jason Bannerman, Jodi Bragg, Adam Bannerman as well as numerous great-nieces, great-nephews and a host of friends who were like family to her.

Friends may pay their respects in person at Wallin Funeral Home & Cremation, Oak Harbor, WA, from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, December 28.
