I was onboard Connie from 1981-1984, and RADM Bull (then Captain) was probably one of the most people oriented skippers I have ever served under. I was assigned to the Career Information Office (CIO) and one of my duties was to report the weekly retention figures to the Captain, on the bridge. He was always very interested and receptive to my reports, which always put me at ease. We had some tee shirts made for Bull's Bunch, but not sure if all crew members got them. I still have mine and it is one of the ship's mementos that I am proud to own. Rest in Peace, Skipper. You will always be remembered.
