Gary Wallin, owner of Wallin Funeral Home and Cremation, LLC, is a licensed funeral director and embalmer and has served as a funeral service provider on Whidbey Island for over 50 years.  

Born in Aberdeen, Washington, Gary moved to Oak Harbor in the fourth grade and has called the town his home ever since.  He and wife, Martha were married in 1976.  They are the parents of two sons and have two granddaughters.

Community is important to Gary and he feels a special calling to work with families who have lost loved ones.  "Funeral service is my life career and I consider it an honor and a privilege to serve my community."

Gary enjoys family time, especially playing with his granddaughters.  In addition, he served 15 years as a school board member, served on the advisory committee of our local food bank, and is an active member of the Kiwanis Club of Oak Harbor.

Jerome came to Wallin Funeral Home as an intern in 2014.  He has a degree in Funeral Service Education from Lake Washington Institute of Technology.  After completing his internships in 2016, he received his WA State Funeral Director and Embalmer licenses and was hired as a full time employee.  

Wallin Funeral Home is excited he has chosen to stay with our firm.  “I want to be in a career where I can aid people.  I am honored to be of service.  I want to help guide a person, or family, through the beginning of this time in their lives.”  He resides in Oak Harbor with his partner Leslie and their dog Sara.

Bryan Stucky started his career in funeral service in 2010 working as a Funeral Director/Embalmer intern for Dignity Memorial at Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home in Marysville. Upon attaining degrees from Everett community college and American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral service, he became a licensed in 2011. In 2014 he become the manager of Bauer Funeral Chapel in Snohomish and Purdy and Kerr with Dawson in Monroe.

Bryan decided to make the switch from corporate owned funeral homes to family owned and in April 2016 became a licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer at Wallin Funeral Home.

He is currently on the Board of Directors for the Washington State Funeral Directors Association and serves as president of the Northwest Funeral Directors Association. Bryan is also a member of the Oak Harbor sunrise Rotary He lives in Oak Harbor with his wife Carrie and son Benjamin. He is looking forward to becoming more involved with the community and serving the families of Whidbey Island for years to come.
