My Friend

My friend, so many good times & memories. Sitting on the beach at Gran's, swimming, drinking beer/Gin & Tonic's, diving off the dock and catching the football. Those were some fun times. I remember one of the best burger joints that you and Curt found; Tradwell, now that was a good burger! You always loved a good challenge, whether it was cooking, mind teasers, crossword puzzles, playing/organizing games, you loved to have fun.

So many memories & fun times: The time we pulled into KFC to find out they had no chicken; the expression on your face was priceless. D&D & Porker to all hours of the morning. Playing Jenga at the Mustard Seed. The intense chess matches that would last for weeks. The trivia games you would come up with: Name as many Batman villains as possible. What was Jeannie's sisters name? That one stumped so many people for several years. I believe you were the one that finally solved the mystery.

I remember when the power was off for a week in Bellevue due to a wind storm. Towards the end of the week everyone was starting to get frustrated from not having power. You suggested building a fire, picking up some pizza in a nearby town, and playing D&D. We were having a great time when suddenly the power came back on. We both looked at each other and said "turn the power off". That was great! You always were so positive, you turned gloom & doom into fun.

You have done so much for so many. You're full of life demeanor and love for making others happy shows your true soul. You will be well missed.

I love you my friend, rest in peace.
