Betty Jane Stevens (Shaw)

Betty Jane Stevens went to be with our Lord and Savior on 20 Jan 2018. She was 93 years of age.
Betty was born in Washington Twp. in Western PA. She married John F Stevens in 1943 and had two sons. They spent their retirement years (1981-2008) near Phoenix, AZ. At John’s passing in 2008 Betty moved to Oak Harbor, WA to be near family.
She was an active volunteer; working with special needs children and visiting @ nursing homes. A source of great joy in her life was her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by: sons Ira (Frances), Sam (Kathy), grand daughters Kelly (Garth Anderson), Courtney (Jeffrey Acton), and great grandchildren Kira, Grace, and Kamryn Anderson and Coen, Addison, and Eliza Acton.
There will be a small grave side service in early March at Valley of the Sun cemetery in Chandler, AZ.
