If you knew John, you knew his caring heart and gentle soul. If you knew John, you know he deeply he loved his family. John loved being in nature, sea kayaking with Ginny, sailing with his father, snow shoeing and skiing on family vacations. The ocean, the mountains, the fresh air was a part of who he was. If you knew John you know he loved his music and the pride he had that his children, Christy and Colin were music makers, poet and song writer. If you knew John, you know he spoke softly and his words were kind and genuine. John was more to me than my husband's brother, he was my friend and protector. He was there for me when it mattered most, for which I will be forever thankful. There are no words that can express how much I will miss him. If you knew John, you are truly blessed.
