Obituary for Ronald Allen Hunt

Ronald Allen  Hunt
Ronald Allen Hunt, surrounded by family and friends, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, March 5, 2014. He was born in Olympia, WA to Iris and Lester Hunt on December 31, 1938.

Ron was a longtime resident of Oak Harbor. He spent 40 years in business, most notably as the owner of the Hunt & Peck Pawn Shop. He was a member of the Oak Harbor Elks Lodge #2362.

Ron enjoyed camping, fishing, and all outdoor sports. He, along with wife Dona, served as Camp Hosts for Island County Rhododendron Park, Coupeville for many years.

Ron is survived by his wife, Dona of Oak Harbor and two brothers, Les Hunt and Glenn Bond as well as stepchildren and step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Kathy L Hunt.

Memorial services for Ron Hunt will be held on Saturday, March 15 at 5:00 pm at the Assembly of God Church, 319 SW 3rd Ave Oak Harbor, WA 98277.
