Melba was such a special member of our Navy Exchange food service family. Every time you went to the office there she was with a smile and friendly hello. She gave so much to all us girls with her thoughtfulness and interest in each of our lives. Every Christmas she would give us each a jar of homemade jam and top it with a handmade needlepoint ornament and ribbon. Melba was special her laugh was infectious and her warm caring nature touched us all. My deepest sympathy to her family, she was a special lady.
