Obituary for Sylvia Rose Smith

SYLVIA R. SMITH
Sylvia Rose Smith was welcomed into His glorious kingdom October 20, 2014. She was born in Toppenish, WA on October 23, 1936 to Daniel and Ethel Chisholm. She attended St. Euphrasia Boarding School and was a member of the Yakima Nation.
Sylvia spent many years in Toppenish and Brewster, WA. Here she raised son William as well as caring for many foster children. She moved to Omak where she enjoyed fishing and crocheting. She received several awards from the Masonic Lodge for the hundreds of hat she crocheted for needy children. She moved to Coupeville, WA in 2003, where she made many friends who made her feel blessed. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Coupeville.
Sylvia is survived by one brother Daniel Chisholm of Malott, son William Smith and wife Angela, granddaughter Cassandra Pellegrini, great grandson Wyatt Pellegrini, all of Spokane and her beloved cat, Cleo.
Sylvia requested no formal funeral services be conducted. Cremation was held with private family inurnment to be held. Memorials may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church, P.O. Box 1443, Coupeville, WA 98239.
