My Father I call Pop My father was not the perfect man , but he was perfect to me. My father took three white kids and raised them to be his own and called us his family. My Pop was a real amazing man and i have always been close to him. Our relashionship grew stronger when my mother died. My pop and i could really talk and i found out so much more about him and yep, things i just didnt want to know *giggles but he was my pop and I was so and still am so very proud of him.
Every day for the three years my Pop was in the Va, my lil brother and I went every weekend to see him and our sister penny as much as she could since she lived in Port Angeles. Our Pop knew how very loved and important he was to us.We listened to his tales, and things we did not even know about him but were all so fascinated on what he had to say.
My Pop raised me to be the person I am today.."Be Strong! Do it because they said you could not! Look at people and see that person, not their color..Be real!
He would look at my sister penny and i and say "don't settle! be yourselves! Funny how our Pop gave us the gift of just that..
For that and SO much more my Pop lived and I was honored to see him live.
Love you so Very very much Pop
Thank you for showing me what a Father and Daddy truely were..
Your daughter always, Pamela "Halfpint"
