Surprise Cake
It was my birthday back in 1969 and we were at Dean and Vivian's. Eric was helping Dean with something to do with the farm that day. I was relitively new to the Anderson family at the time, and when Vivian found out that it was my birthday she quietly went into the kitchen and surprised me with a beautiful pink birthday cake that she amazingly whipped up for the occasion. I cried and never forgot it. I guess one could say that it was my welcome to the family. She will always have a special place in my heart and I cherish the memories.
