Obituary for Theodor Schult

Theodor William Schult passed away on Thursday, Jan. 19. He was 81 years of age. Ted was born in Englewood, N.J. on March 31, 1935 to Theodor and Margaret Schult (nee Wood).

Ted and his family moved to Oak Harbor 35 years ago. While spending 30 years in the Navy and traveling the United States, Ted and Cathy decided Whidbey Island was a great place to live and settled in Oak Harbor to raise their family and ultimately spend their retirement years.

He was dearly loved by all his family and friends and will be missed immensely.

Ted is survived by his four children Anita, Steven and his wife Makenna, Donna and Scott. Also surviving are a brother, John Schult and his wife Brenda; a sister Kathy Neri and her husband Sal; and his niece Sheryl Secor.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 60 years, Cathy, his parents, his brother James Schult and a nephew Jerry Schult.

A private graveside service will be held Feb. 3, 2017.
