A good friend

I was just working on something related to my time at SPU (1978-85) and it reminded me of Bob. I had not kept in touch with him but came as no surprise to learn of his passing. Bob was a great friend and advisor during my time at SPU. He took an interest in me and helped me understand how to grow as a professional and as a witness for Christ. How I wish he were still with us so that I could again express my gratitude. One humorous memory. I remember being at SEATAC to pick up my brother who was visiting me. I had not seen my brother in a while and he had since grown significantly in stature, for the first time exceeding my height. All of a sudden along comes Bob with his brother and I found myself surrounded by trees. I pray for God's peace for his family.
