Friends from Fair Haven

I remeber playing with Brian on Lenox Street in New Haven.  I was older than he by a few years, and I was mainly friends with his brother David who was my age, but Brian and I hung out once in a while or he hung with the older kids in a crowd.  We road our bikes all over Fair Haven.  He was a good guy and I don't know why, but I had been thinking of him on and off for a while now.  I am glad to read from the obituary that he had a full life serving our country and going into a good profession.  He was also blessed to have had a family of his own, too.  He and all the Simlers were very smart, well-raised kids.  I was truly sorry to hear that he had passed so early in life.  I am sure his training at St. Francis' Catholic School did him very well and he is at peace now.

To all the family, I am so sorry for your loss.
