Gene Figgin's

Jack{ who was about eight years old at the time) and I were riding our bikes home after receiving a sample box of Rice Crispies from a nice lady when Gene Figgin's smoking his cigarette  stopped me and demanded my box of Rice Crispies.  Now I knew Gene by reputation.  He was one scarry dude so I gave him my box.  Jack didn't know his reputation and demanded  that he "give my brother back his crispies "and hit him in the stomach .  The box flew into the air, Gene swallowed his cigarette   and I told Jack to get the heck out of there.  The next day I dreaded going to school, but when I got there Gene Figgin's comes up to me and says "you've got one tough little brother there". and that was that.
