Roger & Rosemary Richert

Our hearts are gravely saddened by the loss of our wonderful friend, Dur Roberson. We had the great fortune to spend an afternoon with him, 2 days before his death. He was in good spirits, and proclaimed that if rehab requested that he do something 4 times - he would do it 5; which sounded so much like every other effort Dur made in life. He called Roger "Boss", and me "Mom", in the years since he served as District Governor when Roger was Council Chairperson. Our 34 year relationship was rich, beyond words. I am so grateful that I was able to give him a kiss, and tell him I loved him; never imagining that 2 days later we would suffer this loss. We are deeply gratified that he will no longer suffer. The hole in our lives, though, is profound. God bless you, Dur. Rest in peace.
